Regulation of the West Java Education Calendar in the New Normal Period
Currently, the world is experiencing a crisis due to the spread of a dangerous virus that has caused the regulation of the West Java education calendar to undergo a small change. The reason is that after the government banned residents from leaving the home so as not to be affected by the virus, learning activities during this pandemic period were still considered dangerous.

In addition, after learning activities began using online methods, currently many students have been saved from the attack of infectious viruses. Since the start of the second semester of the West Java education calendar on January 11, 2021 yesterday, many students have started to get used to online learning methods, so that the problems of the past have been somewhat solved.
Later, students will continue to use this learning method until the situation is completely safe and it is certain that there is no danger of contamination when they begin to meet face-to-face. Nevertheless, the Education Office is still trying to change the educational curriculum to be more suitable for online learning methods that were initially unsuitable because they used to be face-to-face.
So far, several new tasks have been given, such as creating gymnastics videos or exercises, so that students can continue to move actively, even though they use online learning methods. Over time, the second semester of the West Java education calendar will be completed on June 25, 2021, using the method of distributing report cards like the previous semester.
Government asks for cooperation from all parties to support learning
With the current new normal period, learning activities have become more focused and aimed at creating more learning comfort for all involved. Whether parents, teachers or students, the Education Bureau and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud) continue to strive to provide the best to their younger generation.
Even over time, the online learning system has been accepted by all circles of society. From kindergarten to college activities in higher education, the online system has been used as the most effective learning method to maintain the health of everyone, whether it is the attack of dangerous viruses or other problems.
In addition, there are currently several green zones on West Java where students can go to school. But it is still worth noting that they all have to follow the applicable protocols so that certain problems do not arise.
